It comes to the end of KLWMBC 2009....
hee...dont know where i should start....
see if i can remember every single day~.~...

12/12/09
i woke up late that day...around 1pm...then Zac phoned me saying that got urgent meeting...
so...went to stadium at 2.50...
then went into secretary room and check out...seeing everyone is busy...
then i look around the secretary room's wall full of timetable and information...>.< all in hand written...lol
then ayieq ask us to wait outside, because as LO(Liaison Officer) cannot enter secretary room>.<
sienz...waiting for secretary updates is really bored..but we cant blame them...
so we LO just sitting outside...had our meal and playing cards game~...song~^^ haha
play UNO from 5 to 7.30 night...
so romantic la the stadium without light>.<
then had our dinner at KFC with Joyah,John and Iz.
well eating together on the floor...kinda malay style..but nice experience eating together on the floor>.<
after that we went to meet Jimmy...talk about Band schedule and ....chao...

last day of KLWMBC Volunteer before the event!...
i reach late...argh..cuz i am lazy hahaaa
so...we just did a round of Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony rehearsal.
so that about it...then we wait at stadium for our KLWMBC Pass....
omg man...waited whole also didn't get it....>.<
played UNO again after lunch...and wait..wait...wait..
helped the secretaries to put the band member pass into the tag...quite difficult to put..because
the pass size is just FIT....chao at 4pm

2 days before the event...we report ourself(LO) at stadium in the morning...
then ahpek suggest to go visit our band's Hostel....so we get permission and depart to...
SBU Hostel...the environment is good...hostel is good condition..the fan is working..the toilet is clean and no smell...the people around there is friendly and nice...
everything is OK!!

after that...chao to Pusat Kecemerlangan Cochrane...which doesn't sounds Kecemerlangan at ALL!...why?

anyhow..i don't know what is the secretaries plan to do...so no comment =X

last day before the event~ band which is take care is Kwang Hua School Band from Klang
kinda song, because it local band and easy to talk, most important can learn together hahahaha
well....more over get to know more friends!!!! yay!! i like it^^
just like normal...band arrive at 11.45...then i just bring them to hostel and had lunch...
then check in...
then is their practice time...i just follow percussion section =P
kinda syok...percussion section only got 1 boy...so幸福 la the guy^^

Street Parade Day 16/12/2009
quite disappointed at the weather on that day...we arried at Pavillion and it rained!!!!
walao..so dulan leh...i think everyone( KLWMBC crew) all get wet>.< and the band members also quite bo song....lol..got anot?
dont bo song la...not my fault...u ask the weather la...
so everything delay~ and the band arrangement reshuffled...so quite dulan again...and i forgot to say..my official KLWMBC Tee is XXXL....remain stock..haizzz
as the rain stopped..then we faster lined up to start our parade....we are in between Boonwattana Marching Band and Hong Kong Kiangsu Chekiang Girls Drum band....
due to the delay we don't have time to perform for the opening ceremony and just march out...
i know u guys must be sad...quite wasted effort...but it gaining experience and bring out your band name!!! that cool already XD...

i do enjoy together with you guys..although i cant remember all their names..but we keep in touch through facebook...you guys had a really high spirit in band...seeing u all so serious in doing things..improving..taking care of each other...supporting each other..reminds me in Boy's Brigade life...lol>.<...good luck for next year competition to you guys..

tooked some photo before they leave....then i went back home and rest awhile...which is just 45min rest...then i went to assist Shaby to take care St Joseph School Band from Kuching Sarawak....yay!!! so i just introduce myself to the teachers and coach...
at 2pm we depart from Alam Shah hostel to Berjaya Times Square...the St Joseph band had a public performance at there...here is the..

i missed the drumline!!!!! haizz...then i meet up BB percussion and Kwang Hua people again..then eat together with them...and i leave my band behind..>.

KLWMBC Official Dinner

well...i packed up again...and went back hostel..so we went to the dinner by bus together...
arrived there...and ate alot!!! woot...buffet style is the best!! i love the char kuey tiaw....
every food is so delicious...the drinks is sweet enough...haha...then we had fun together in the hall..dancing~singing~cheering...wooooo!!!! tooked some photos
and we just went back and sleep>.<

Grand final day!!!
woke up in the morning...and we went to watch Chonkanyanukoon Thai Marching Band having their practice....to spend our time...then went back in the afternoon...weather is raining again in the afternoon>.< the singapore band is having practice at Alam Shah field...
then i helped them to carry the pit percussion...the tympani is super duper heavy !!!!
argh..struggle in the rain~ luckily didn't caught cold...phew~...then went back hostel and sleep zz
around 3...went back home online again XD...around 6..went to meet edwin...so i bring him to stadium...and we just enter grand stand seat for free with st joseph band...hahahahaa
enjoyed the band performance...kinda like the satreewheethaya performance ( KLWMBC champion)...kinda regret didn't take some photo with other band...so just went back hostel with st joseph band..=(

woke up at 8.30 then wash up...prepare to go Mid Valley to spend our time....
so arrived at 10.30...the band member went to shop...cool...wearing SJS jacket walking in Mid Valley together..then i watch malay movie with shaby, wana and sebastian...walao..sienz lo...so keep on sms with Her~haha..but i still understand the movie can dy...lol..wasted rm10 for it...><
then we cabut back to stadium to return our payment voucher>.<
take KTM>Putra line> LRT> Taxi> stadium....zzz
wasted 1 and a half hour...
then taxi> Mid valley again...
then 8pm back to hostel >.<....what a day!!!!....bored...tiredz...
so..i went back home and say good bye to the band...=)...that it....

Welcome Back with Kuala Lumpur World Marching Band 2009 (KLWMBC)

Hey guys...I am back!
Sorry been missing for 3 month..exam,school,etc
But now it Holiday! so let kick start again!!!

holiday mood??

No!!!

Today i just went to sign up KLWMBC Volunteer Program
Well quite MANY people attended....the volunteer program is at VI Secondary School..so i just find my shortcut through the mosque and campus then walk to the school...along the way i saw VI student was having band practice...well it didn't attract me much, cause just some field warm up.

Then i just take the registration form from the staff....
then we move to a class room....sitting there watch last year KLWMBC08 video.
well, kinda boring to me...cause i watched a lot of times xP

then slowly the CEO came to give a wide briefing through the history KLWMBC...then the post of volunteer.then we divided in to classes( position of volunteer)
oh by the way...
I sign up for Liaison Officer.

it a tough JOB! well i hope i can make it...because out of 50+ volunteer they only need 30..
and i think i am the youngest volunteer in this position...
nothing much...we have a long ice breaking game!
oh my god man...it was tiring!
well it was kinda fun...form a big circle...start from one person to say his name with a funny action...then another guy have to repeat the action and say out his name and do an action..so it flow and flow...until me, luckily i am not the last guy!..but i was nervous and luckily people helped me behind whispering the name...thanks
then continue our briefing and history...lots of funny story la....kinda enjoy.
then we divided into 4 groups again...and my group got many girls(boy act like girl also got) LOL
got leng lui also elder than me!! walao...(hope they didn't saw this) XD
most of them were malays but the leng lui i see is chinese people...XD
ok then we introduce ourself again..i quite forgetful. so i just remember their faces.

Ok...then we head to lunch and last briefing then we dismiss.

So if you still want to be KLWMBC Volunteer, please come and ask me...this are the position

Liaison Officer
the one who will take care of the band throughout the competition period. Have the chance to mingle around with band members, see them practices, tours. Basically, a liaison officer will act as communication officer between the management team and the band.

Field Marshal
The one who is in charge of the venue during the competition. Assisting management, liaison officers and band members with rules and regulations, making sure the flow of competitions is running smoothly. Field Marshall also needs to take care of the venue which involve cleaning the stadium, security of stadium, etc.

Usher
Working with protocols and need to look good all the time. Ushered the VIP during dinner, prize ceremony, etc. Preferably hot chicks. Lol

Secretariat
The hardest task of all. Running the events. Handle the media, accommodation, F&b, transportation, problem solving- all the technical aspects in event managements.

KLWMBC will held from 9~20 December2009

This is Nan Hwa School Band, i recommended to watch this @@@@@ i rate 5 star for them~
unfortunately they got 3rd placing...

Highlight:
1) Percussion play de solo very nice and i like it
2) The style that drum major throw (like play golf) haha
3) Formation also nice, sound quality balance!

Tuesday21/7
Today after recess suddenly got spot check again...don't know which ''fun cheong'' bring handphone again, so 5 prefect lead my seck wei to check our class...then we standing outside making lots of noise. while i read newspaper lo...sambil look at them search for illegal stuff...i did bring illegal item that day, unfortunaly they could'nt found haha! I brought DVD(drumline battle) cause decided to post to Claudia after school, hehe luckly i sealed in post express envelope cost rm3 >.<, so they didn't really care about it, and teacher taught i brought radio to school...it was my metronome la. Well. during spotcheck...guo bin(prefect) hit student, i'm one of the victim man...so pain my back...i was like scolding him @#!@$: Benny got give permission to hit people ah?....damn pek cek that time..then he just apologize haiz..i was still in hot temperature so just ignore and read newspaper..damn it...so noisy la my class until teachers from other class come and scold us...

Tuition time, Guo Bin apologize again,but that time not so angry liao...so i just forgive him..and we group together as usual~

Physic teacher and B.M teacher absent so as usual make noise like pasar~what to do..no prefect in class got 40 students in class and even monitor also worse than us...play together haiz...

Then after school go for band practice
as usual less than 10 people attend, i feel like wasting my effort and time to come practice
since everyone is not free better cancel the practice day la haiz.
so just do some warm up and practice ''Bunga Tanjung"

today tution add math..teacher starting to give me more attention..haiz keep on talk with zhen yi
so better sit away from me la zhen yi=p

Physic and B.M teacher absent again...then bio class, before leave the lab, teacher ask me what you want to do in future?
I answer her : Phycology
She says: What la taw wei, you sendiri also got phycology problem.
Me:=.=(then don't ask la, sibeh)
Last period is EST, sure a lot complain by our class teacher lo..as usual
scold us and ask us to stand for 5 minutes...well already normal
then suddenly next class 5W produce some weird sounds which make our class laugh like hell
hehe sound like making love* duhh
actually was playing hugging duhh...i also not sure la...
so Pn Low went to lecture them 15 min...then i use this time to SLEEP a while =p
very fast school end peacfully =_=

B.M tuition class..i sat under air-cond place again...haiz i though will be dividing into groups
then can switch place, but teacher decide discuss together so..he raise the temperature of it..thanks god..

Times flies...it friday again, most enjoyable day la i guess cause got band practice again ma
and got full attendance also...
nothing much happen in school just feel annoyed by PJK teacher, annoyed us play basketball
but also cannot blame teacher..is because of us speaking chinese and foul language which annoyed her first...so next week takda PJK...
now a day so many people play rubik's cube..which attracted me to play but i just don't have the motivation to learn and get one of it...so better lend from chia way la..since he got a unique rubik

hi back to blog again~
...today wake up so early...i set alarms 6.45...then wake up at 6.30..then forget off alarm..then go wash up..then suddenly alarm rang so loud..i set ''Estancia''(marching band song) as the ringtone..then brush teeth till half go off it...swt~

then i wear casual to school..lol when reach YC everyone like changed already...then i still enjoyin my breakfast...hehe as usual ''char siew pao'' so early very lazy to polish...cuz later got some opening ceremonial event at school...then just changed as usually full uniform...so hot~sumore need wear tie..duh=.=..feel like vomit la the button around my neck to tight~

then warm up...haven perform edi sweat~sumore later still got normal meeting...T.T
around 8.30 we march to school smartly...blue navy slaves march smartly~
....stop at the entrance of school for abt 20 minutes..so heavy lar drums...

then play play a songs...''kings moutain adventure''
then march back to YC again...

Academic Day

Haiz..thought of studies again...result so bad still need to take meh?
haiz...so many subjects majority pass la...only the stupid sejarah...who gona study?
teacher comments : Taw Wei looks sleepy in class

: Because he sleep too much so didn't concentrate on teacher
.....yawn~ while teacher giving the comment =P
and i admit i do sleep in class....especially BM lesson...haiz always didn bring workbook
cause i lost it...zzz who stole liao!!!?

then english teacher didn't give any bad comments...
and i got 10 demerit...due to homeworks didn't do...haiz..
lalala...it over...Work harder for Year End Exam!

After that go BB activity... almost not enough time to use...reach there 11pm
then quickly polish and cabut to MCD....whee~had..time flies after lunch already 12.10..
faster ran back YC...phew* manage to 7(cat) my shoe for clean the the dust only...so i didn polish well haha...but didn kena punishment cause who inspect me? L/cpl sharan lo, he cincai inspect d lol...just ask no check...

Drill was the best man! today i really like the drill. It help me keep fit haa...dividing everyone into drill team...well i didn't aspect to be int he drill team A...and yet im IN...hope i can keep it up.

1)band member!!!! we are going to watch Catholic High School Concert on 25 July
2)On 30th Ogos we maybe got one performance @ Genting count down for Merdeka...(not sure)

Whats Goin On?

Ohh man it July already!...there are many events i wanted to join!
i really wants to go watch Perak State Marching Band Competition and Terengganu State Marching Band Competition... i cant wait to see Chung Hwa Wei Sin Band and Ave Maria Convent(AMC) Band performance this year....i really support this two band...i hope i can go watch...anyone can tumpang me?!! Last year it was great to see CHWS and AMC performance in KL..but this year, national comp will at Johor...sigh* so far from KL...man...

Saturday again~yeah...spend my time on BB again...What else? Yes! Father's Day Program
...My father didn't attend attend it because he prefer GOLF~hehe
So...Happy Father Day......although my father did not join us...but still got other parents joined us
quite fun to have such program cause no DRILL =D thanks for L/cpl Richmond for such wonderful

Membership of a Band for one Session qualifies a Boy in the Pursuits Section at Bronze stage, and award of the Badge qualifies a Boy at Silver stage. (c) Understand and correctly use musical terms on p. 18 of Bugle Band Handbook. Bass Drum - (a) Flourish of sticks on march. (b) Play the exercises 10-14 on p. 21-23 of Bugle Band Handbook. Second Advanced Certificate Awarded to Boys of 16 B.B. age or more, who hold the Drummer's First Advanced Certificate gained in a previous Session, have attended regularly B.B. Band practice for another Session and who pass the following tests. (a) Read and play any Drum music at sight. One phrase in each of the following times-2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 6/8-at correct tempos. (b) Maintenance of Instrument. Bass Drum - (a) Roll notes of more than crochet or dotted crochet duration. (b) Exercises 15-20 in Bugle Band Handbook. (c) Maintenance of Instrument.

Compare to HandBook Qualification....
Play on any percussion instrument....exercise on a different beat or tempo as required by the
examiner...(same goes to advance level)

can see is a big different to get this badge last time...thanks god i have Advance liao ....
maybe next time officer/examiner can use the olden qualification to test our percussion hahaha

hmm..recall about band today...Band Time is always fun with Mr Lau (Band instructor)
yes~ i almost can play king's moutain adventure already....just abit mess at the Coda~
...hmm 3 snare drummer..one fat..one short...one skinny and tall...is playing snare in pesta next year??...now i already cracking my head on a drumline...or maybe i should let other to work for it?haiz....and also band formation~and next year SPM...have to lecture my parent before they lecture me...on my exam result..T.T..starting to get pressure~~up coming event it should be

This is my new pencil box(QuickSilver)....through out my secondary year...my pencil box is always my pocket or i don't bring stationary to school instead i borrow from friends...
and now i have a nice pencil box which able me to keep many things such as..handphone,

Finally end it~..6 people joined today....i believe yesterday have more people..hehe
some went to time square even me too xP....so i think i can pass this award=)

What to do today? once reach Sunbeam Home at 8.30 we ride off to somewhere resource center i forget what is it.....near by benny's house~

then 3.30 Tea time....then nothing to do already...so can have fellowship with the kids~
but the kids were sleeping so we just chat around till 5.50! then Chao~
